The Block Conference Scheduler is an easy way to schedule a block of students for one date and location in specific individual increments.
STEP 1: On the Conferences page, choose the Students To Be Scheduled tab.
STEP 2: Select one or more students for the conference by clicking their corresponding checkbox.
STEP 3: Select the Create Conference option under Bulk Actions.
STEP 4: Click Create Block of Conferences to access the block conference scheduler.
STEP 5: Enter the conference Event Information on the Details page.
- Enter Date: Same date will be applied to all students below.
NOTE: If you enter a date less than 8 days in the future, Attend cannot send the notification via mail because the letter may not arrive to the parent in time for the parent to make arrangements to attend the conference.

- There will be an indicator displayed if the conference date is within the next 8 calendar days.
- If the date is greater than 8 days, Attend will send the letter the next business day after you save the conference. There will be an indicator displayed.
- Enter Location: Same Location will be applied to all students below.
- Enter Begin Time: The time the scheduling block starts.
- Enter End Time: The time the scheduling block will end.
- Students per Time Slot: The number of Students in each time slot.
- If a user were to enter 1, then 1 individual conference would be scheduled at a time. For example: If you are holding 15-minute meetings, this would be 1 student per 15‑minute time slot.
- If a user were to enter 2, then 2 individual conferences would be scheduled for the same time.
- Conference Duration: The duration in minutes each conference will be assigned within the begin & end time window. If a user is going to hold conferences every 15 minutes within the begin & end time, the user would enter 15.
STEP 6: Enter a note in the Message to Parent/Guardian box only if you want the note to print on the letter.
- The addition of a note is not required.
- This is not an internal note section; any information entered in this box will print on the notification for each student selected. Examples:
- “Please arrive 15 minutes early.”
- “Please bring student with you to the conference.”
STEP 7: Click the Schedule Now button.
STEP 8: Confirm by selecting OK.
Result: Pop up window will display all students and assigned date and time. Students will now be located on the To be Conducted conference page as individual conferences.
