The Attend data rollover occurs once a year for all Attend users, at the end of each school year (typically in late June or early July). On the rollover date, all data for every school year’s reporting is finalized. No new data uploads will occur until the next school year, which means that the program does not house any student or guardian data after it has been rolled over.
How Attend's Rollover Works
Your Attend Implementation Manager will be in touch with the district-level contact at your district with more information regarding each year’s data rollover, including a date in which the district should wait to complete its own student rollovers/ promotions in the SIS. In order for Attend to provide complete end of year reports and accurate chronic absentee data, all students need to remain in Active status and enrolled in the current school year until the date provided by your Implementation Manager. If you choose to promote students in the SIS prior to the end of the school year, the Attend data will be incomplete.

1. I just logged into my Attend account. It’s the beginning of the school year. Why am I only able to access the Overview page and Reports? If I click on Interventions or Conferences, it just skips me to the Reports page.
This commonly happens in the summer or the first 1-4 weeks of school, and the most common reason this happens is because data rollover for the previous school year is complete but we have not yet completed our first data upload for the new school year. For questions about when your district’s first data upload is and when you’ll be able to access and view student data in Attend, please contact your Implementation Manager or the Attend Help Desk.
2. Can I still run reports even if there hasn’t been a data upload yet for the current school year?
You will have limited access to reporting features in the Reports section of Attend, and you will be able to generate that data for previous school years but not the current year until the first data upload is complete. If you need data before the first upload of the year and you have questions, please contact your Attend Implementation Manager or Customer Success Manager.
