Getting Started
- Access: Users log in at attend.schoolstatus.com using their district email address, though some districts may enable Single Sign-On (SSO) via Google or Microsoft.
- Help Resources: Users can access the Help Center for step-by-step guides and screenshots, or the Learning Lab for training videos and webinar recordings, via the "Help" link in the top right corner.
- Search Functionality: The search bar in the upper left allows users to look up specific students by ID or name to access their individual overview pages.
Student Overview Page
- Data Source: All student data is automatically synced from the district's Student Information System (SIS).
- Communications: The "Communications" hub tracks all touchpoints with guardians, including letters and text messages.
- Interventions & Details: Under the "Student Details" tab, users can view sent interventions, download copies of letters, and review attendance event tables.
- Guardians: Users can view existing guardians and manually add additional contacts, ensuring the correct notification settings (letters, emails, or texts) are enabled for each.
Dashboard Features
- Overview: Provides a snapshot of upcoming interventions, conference status pie charts, and "Early Warning Insights" to identify students at risk of chronic absenteeism.
- Intervention Management: Attend automates the generation of notifications based on attendance thresholds. Users should periodically review the "To Be Sent" list and can suppress letters when necessary (e.g., due to pre-existing communication or data errors).
- Conferences: This section manages the conference workflow. Users must manually schedule conferences, document the outcomes (e.g., "Conducted" or "Attempted"), and close the conference record to allow the student to progress in the intervention process.
